Diamondbacks, Reed avoid arbitration
Feb 13, 2015 - 5:55 PM Phoenix, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - The Arizona Diamondbacks and reliever Addison Reed avoided arbitration on Friday, agreeing to a one-year contract.No financial terms were disclosed by the team.
The 26-year-old right-hander finished his first season in the desert with a 1-7 record, 4.25 earned run average and 32 saves over 59 1/3 innings in 62 appearances.
Heading into his fifth pro season, Reed owns a 9-13 mark, 4.20 ERA and 101 saves for the Chicago White Sox and D-backs.
