May 22, 2016 - 3:09 AM NEW YORK (AP) Nneka Ogwumike had 25 points and 15 rebounds and the Los Angeles Sparks rallied to beat the New York Liberty 79-72 in overtime Saturday night.

Candace Parker added 14 points and 12 rebounds for the Sparks (3-0). They had won their first two games by an average of 30 points.

Trailing 60-53 midway through the final quarter, Los Angeles rallied. Ogwumike's three-point play with 54.5 seconds left and a 3-pointer by Kristi Toliver tied it at 65 with 21.5 seconds left in regulation.

Tina Charles had a chance to win it for New York in regulation, but her 15-foot jumper bounced off the rim.

In overtime, Ogwumike hit a 3-pointer and then added a layup to give Los Angeles a 73-70 lead. Toliver's jumper made it a five-point game with 2 minutes left. New York couldn't get any closer.

Charles had 17 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Liberty (2-1).

MYSTICS 84, SUN 76, OT

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (AP) - Tayler Hill had a career-high 24 points and seven assists to help the Washington outlast Connecticut.

Hill hit 10 of 11 free throws, including 6 of 6 after regulation. Bria Hartley added 16 points and Emma Meesseman scored 14 for the Mystics (1-3).

Alyssa Thomas scored 18, while Jasmine Thomas added 13 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and three steals for Connecticut (1-2). Kelsey Bone had 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Camille Little's layup with two minutes remaining in the extra period pulled the Sun to 75-74. However, Hill found Tierra Ruffin-Pratt for a corner 3 that sparked a 9-2 run to seal it.

Washington's Stephanie Dolson made 1 of 2 free throws with 1.8 seconds left in regulation to force overtime.

WINGS 82, STARS 77

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - Odyssey Sims scored 23 points in front of a hometown crowd, Skylar Diggins made her season debut coming off knee surgery and Dallas won its inaugural home game.

Sims, who starred at a Dallas-area high school and 100 miles south at Baylor, scored 10 first-quarter points after welcoming an announced sellout crowd with a brief pregame speech at the 7,275-seat College Park Center at the University of Texas at Arlington, halfway between Dallas and Fort Worth.

The Wings (3-1) opened the season with three road games before playing the first women's professional game in the Dallas area in more than 30 years.

Diggins came off the bench late in the first quarter to a roar almost as big as those for each of Sims' two 3-pointers in the first 5 minutes. Diggins scored one point in 12 minutes in her first game since tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in her right knee last June 28, when the franchise was still in Tulsa.

Kayla McBride scored 29 points, one shy of her career high, to lead the Stars (0-3).
